Murg town is located on the shores of Lake Walensee in the Canton of St. Gallen. Thanks to the proximity of Austrian and German borders, the whole canton is relatively easily accessible from the Czech Republic. Altough mountains nearby are still below the height of the renowned swiss 4000 and canton is not as well known such as Graubünden, it does not mean that it lacked any of the countless natural beauty of the Swiss Alps.
Over the weekend, we’ll see and take pictures of wild alpine rivers and breathtaking waterfalls, as well as crystal clear lakes. We´ll experience the atmosphere of the true alpine hut and walk through the valley, which by it´s nature and the countryside resembles Scandinavia. Interested participants can then climb to nearly 2,400 high view-point summit and if we have a little luck on the night, we gaze at the Milky Way.
Application Deadline: 20.8.2018

Night arrival in Prague.
1x in Murg camping in a tent (15 CHF) and 1x in a hut in a dormitory (30 CHF). The camp and the hut is at times difficult to pay by credit card, so you need to have with you enough cash CHF.
There is possible to buy a classic meal at the camp and you can order half board (breakfast + dinner) for 60 CHF in the hut. Otherwise, we will eat from our own inventory. In the camp and around the hut you can use the stove. Drinking water is available everywhere.
Although this trip is easy and everyone can do it, we must not underestimate mountains conditions. It is therefore good to have insurance for the movement in the mountains (e.g. Alpenverein). You should also carry cash and not to rely on credit cards.
